Ladies
Ministry Commission Report
January 2008
The ladies of
the Europe/Middle East Regional are working toward a great
goal. That goal is to influence their world for our
Lord Jesus Christ and to spread the good news of His saving
and keeping power regardless of where you live. From
the responses to a Survey sent around the Region, we note
that 60% of our constituency consists of women. Most
countries in Europe/Middle East Region have an active ladies
program in place, to include Ladies Conferences and monthly
Ladies Meetings. In addition:
-
Mothers or
Ladies Day Services focus on ladies needs.
-
Monthly
Daughters of Zion Meeting focus on prayer for our
children
-
Annual
Ministers and Wives Retreats held in some areas of the
Region provide for separate classes to address the needs
of minister’s wives and women in their congregations
-
Monthly
Prayer and Fellowship emphasis family, church and
community. Prayer chains, Prayer Walks, Weekends of
Prayer and Fellowship are a driving force of spiritual
impact in their lives
-
Teaching
on local and national levels is preparing women for
ministry to children, the ability to hold small group
Bible Studies, and personal evangelism. One missionary
reports 25-30 personal Bible Studies taught annually by
ladies
-
Ladies are
active in evangelism, others are involved in Children’s
Ministry, teaching in Bible Schools, ministry to
refugees, prison ministry, Sunday School Superintendent,
ladies team leaders and mentoring the teens in the local
church, Apostolic ladies, some with Christian Worker’s
License, are teaching English to reach their people
using Oneness materials as texts
-
Translation of materials, newsletters and a Children’s
Magazine are the creative work of women in the Region
-
Others
organize fund raisers to assist the ministry, local and
national missions programs and to purchase Sunday School
materials
-
And many
continue to lend themselves to the various ministries of
their husbands and/or spiritual leaders as musicians,
singers, hostesses, prayer warriors and examples of
Christian faithfulness
